Here we are on our 50th Anniversary. The first 50 are definitely the hardest. They told us as part of the ceremony on our wedding day that “The future with its joys and its sorrows is hidden before your eyes.” Good thing, because no way could we have handled what was to come.
Five children and grand parents eleven times over, we have experienced sorrows, but so many joys. Each new life is an affirmation of love and joy. Each new sorrow is something we can endure with the help of each other, family and good friends. So we sit in the Grandstand and view the new generation, acknowledging the trials and the love and the joy. We pray that they will find the path that leads each of them to contentment and peace.
Blessings, Bubbles
